Field Absorption Spectroscopy Kit
Overview
The facility offers a portable absorption spectroscopy set – the Field Absorption Spectroscopy Kit – which can be used in conjunction with our Ocean Optics or PSR+ 3500 spectrometers to conduct absorption spectroscopy in challenging field conditions. The kit is a modular system consisting of:
- Ocean Optics DH 2000 Deuterium-Tungsten Halogen UV-VIS-NIR Light Source, providing a stabilized, broad spectral power density light output covering 180 nm to 2500 nm
- A selection of fibre optic light guides for connection between DH-200, cuvette holder, and spectrometer
- Ocean Optics Square-One Cuvette Holder, for cuvettes with 1 cm path length
- Avantes Variable Path Length Cuvette Holder, for cuvettes with path lengths up to 10 cm
The choice of fibre optics, cuvette holder, and spectrometer will vary depending on the application. Please contact the facility for more information.
