FOV or Nadir Height Calculator

Please note, this calculator is meant to give approximate values only. For more information on the FOV of spectroradiometers, please read Mac Arthur, MacLellan and Malthus (2012) (DOI: 10.1109/TGRS.2012.2185055).

Fill in the FOV of your foreoptic lens in degrees, and then enter either your desired FOV diameter on the ground, or your working nadir height in meters and press Calculate.
The related nadir height/ground FOV will be calculated in meters.
You may adjust the precision of your results.
